Of all the words that spring to mind when one hears the name Batman, cute is probably not high up on the list. And yet cute is definitely one of the words that can be used to describe BATMAN: LI'L GOTHAM. Not that the series doesn't faithfully adapt the characters and even the feel of Batman, but that the tone is significantly different from the one that appears in most of the other comics appearing on the shelves. Indeed, LI'L GOTHAM doesn't even take place in the New 52, but uses the more iconic and recognizable iterations of the characters established in the animated series and pre-New 52 comics.
