The CBC Awards Are Tonight

I'm a little bit late in breaking this "news" (two months late, give or take), but tonight I'm going to the Children's Choice Book Awards, sponsored by the Children's Book Council, so I have to give a shout-out to the graphic-novel-related authors being honored. Lunch Lady and the Cyborg Substitute by Jarrett J. Krosoczka is nominated in the Third Grade to Fourth Grade Book of the Year; Dork Diaries by Rachel Renee Russell and Outlaw the Legend of Robin Hood by Tony Lee, Sam Hart, and Artur Fujita made it for Fifth to Sixth Grade; and Jeff Kinney (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) is up for author of the year. Congratulations to all the nominees, and good luck tonight!
